Terms of Service

Last updated 16 September 2026

The short version

  • TradeTattva Journal analyses trades you have already made. It is not advice, and it never tells you what to trade.
  • Your data stays yours. We will not sell it, publish it, or train models on it.
  • The numbers are computed from what you upload. Your broker's contract note is the authority, not us.
  • The service is young. It may break, and we say so plainly rather than promising uptime we cannot yet prove.
  • If you stop paying, you get read-only access and your export. We never hold your data hostage.

1. What you are agreeing to

These terms govern your use of TradeTattva Journal at journal.falconn.app. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not create one — and if you already have, delete it and nothing further is owed either way.

2. What the service is

TradeTattva Journal is a record-keeping and analytics tool. You upload the tradebook your broker gives you, or enter trades by hand, and it computes statistics about your own past trading: profit and loss net of charges, R-multiples against the risk you planned, win rates by setup and tag, and a review workflow.

TradeTattva Journal records plans, strategies, rules, notes and risk limits for review. It does not place orders, stop trades or close positions.

It is a mirror, not a guide. It has no opinion about any security, makes no forecast, and produces no signals. See the Risk & Regulatory Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

3. Your account

  • One account is for one person. Do not share credentials.
  • Give a real email address — it is how you recover the account, and an account with an address you cannot read is an account we cannot help you with.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is in it, and use the sessions list to sign other devices out.
  • You must be 18 or over.

4. Your data is yours

You keep every right in the trades, notes and files you put into TradeTattva Journal. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the service for you: to store your content, process it to produce your statistics, and show it back to you.

We commit, as a term of this agreement and not merely as a good intention:

  • We will not sell your data, or share it for advertising.
  • We will not use your trading data to train machine-learning models, ours or anybody else's.
  • We will not publish aggregate performance claims derived from user journals — not in marketing, not as a leaderboard, not as "our users average X".
  • You can export everything at any time, free, in open formats, and delete everything in one action.

5. Accuracy, and where authority actually sits

Every figure in TradeTattva Journal is computed from the file you uploaded and from published charge schedules. Brokerage, exchange fees, STT, stamp duty and GST are estimates, labelled as such in the interface, and they can differ from what your broker actually charged you.

Your broker's contract note and your own tax filings are the authoritative record. Do not use TradeTattva Journal as a substitute for either. If the two disagree, your broker is right and we would like to hear about it.

6. Acceptable use

Do not: upload data that is not yours to upload; attempt to reach another user's data; probe, scrape or overload the service; resell access; or use it for anything unlawful. We can suspend an account that does these things, and for anything that endangers other users' data we will do it without notice.

7. Availability

The service is early. We run backups, monitoring and alerting, and we would rather tell you the truth about maturity than print a number we cannot yet stand behind: there is no uptime guarantee today. Maintenance may interrupt access. Features may change, and features labelled as unavailable in the interface stay unavailable until they are genuinely ready.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export exists for exactly this reason.

8. Fees

TradeTattva Journal is free to use today. No charges are taken and no payment details are collected.

Perch is free during beta. Its planned price after beta is ₹399 per month or ₹3,828 per year. It keeps your book, every net-of-charges number and the full export, for one trading account. Flight is planned at ₹699 per month or ₹6,708 per year, with up to five trading accounts. Stoop opens later at an indicative ₹1,199 per month or ₹11,508 per year and is not for sale now. Yearly prices include a discount of at least 20% and are not available for checkout yet. These are preview prices; applicable tax and the final total will be shown before payment.

When billing starts:

  • Prices will be shown before you are asked to pay anything, taxes stated separately.
  • Beta users will receive at least 30 days' notice by email before Perch becomes paid. No account is charged automatically when beta ends. You must explicitly choose a paid plan and authorize payment before any charge.
  • Those same accounts keep Performance and the What-if Lab at no charge, on the free tier, permanently. Features that were free when you started using them are not moved behind a paywall for you.
  • The Refund & Cancellation Policy will apply.
  • If a renewal payment fails, the paid period remains available and a seven-calendar-day grace period begins when it ends. A confirmed full refund of the payment for the current period ends paid access, with journal reading and export still available. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for the details.

9. Our intellectual property

The software, interface, brand and written content of TradeTattva Journal belong to us. These terms give you permission to use the service, not a licence to copy it. Broker and exchange names appear only to describe file formats and instruments; those marks belong to their owners, and their appearance implies no partnership, endorsement or affiliation.

10. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the product, without asking us. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of section 6 — and if we do, you will be told why and given a reasonable chance to export your data unless doing so would itself endanger someone.

11. Liability

TradeTattva Journal is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, tax outcomes, or decisions you take after looking at your own statistics. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months or ₹1,000.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything the law does not permit us to limit.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will hear any dispute arising from them.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and material changes are announced in the product's What's new page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it; if you do not, delete your account and export your data first.
